Do not entertain impure thoughts! - By : Shaila Touchton

The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. Genesis 6:5

Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. Isaiah 55:7

Have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? James 2:4

For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery. Mark 7:21

Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean Matthew 23:26.
Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature Romans 13:14

Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires Romans 8:5.

We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check James 3:2.

Don?t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God?s holy people. Ephesians 5:3

It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God. 1 Thess. 4:3-5

THE CHRISTIAN'S BATTLE: Walking in the Spirit vs. Fulfilling Your Lusts - By : Jasmien Hudson

Published: Nov 15, 2009 by glory83 Filed under: Relationships Temptation
Still Straddling the Fence between the Spirit & the Flesh?
Guiding Principle Verse: Galatians 5:16-17

16"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these two are contrary to one another."

The Case: Saved at age six, attending church regularly, touring with a gospel choir...and still straddling the fence between the Spirit and the flesh. In the beginning, I was good obeying the obvious like don't murder, don't steal, and don?t take God's name in vain. But as I matured, I found I was creating chaos and challenges for myself by disobeying so many other of God's commands and statutes. Then I realized some teachings were tough ONLY because I insisted on trying to live life both ways. Once I decided to embrace a Spirit-led life so many struggles evaporated!

The Lesson: Walking in the Spirit required a full-on total character and lifestyle makeover. As no woman can be "kinda pregnant", I could no longer kinda obey. I gave God my entire life - spiritual, financial, relational, social, vocational, emotional, and physical. I began to live by Proverbs 3:5-6:

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths."

The Victory: As a result of my spiritual makeover, I gained some tangible
benefits including:

-Increased love, peace, and joy in my life
-Healthier financial outlook
-Better communication between me and others
-Clearer purpose and decision-making
-More margin in my life (financial, emotional)

Ready for good success? Ready to be victorious? Here's the challenge:

Examine your motives for all you think, speak, and do. Are you being driven by the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, or the pride of life?

If you continue to ask yourself "Why" you will soon discover when you are walking in the Spirit versus when you are fulfilling a work of your flesh. Never shall the two ever meet for the Spirit and the flesh are absolutely opposed to one another. Albeit painful, this is one the greatest lessons God ever taught me!

Now, grace to you!

Does it please Our Father to use a condom? - By : Wilfred Tunyira

Published: Nov 15, 2009 by glory83 Filed under: Relationships Temptation
?You have heard that it was said, ?Do not commit adultery.? But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.? (Mathew 5:27-28)
My soul is sorrowful in the living of these days. ?But mark this: there will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control, brutal, not lovers of good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.? (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
?Wicked men are everywhere, and everyone praises what is evil. Keep us safe O LORD, and preserve us from such people.? (Psalm 12:7-8)
O so sad that we have all offered ourselves as instruments for the enemy; fighting directly against Our Father. By grace of his wisdom and understanding he made some scientist, doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers, world leaders, and many other special areas to serve his goodwill but sooner we become the fulfillment of his will than the devil deceives us into making us the instruments of his evil works. And so instead of the world living a pleasing life of purity and holiness worth accepting before Our Father, they have fashion all kinds of evil desires of the flesh. Tears fill my weak eyes to behold the shame of these days; ladies tend to dress showing all their private selves to the entire world, and they feel proud about it. They have offered themselves s to the evil deceit of fashion of this world therefore blinding them from the shame of such unholy living. What grieves me the most is the rate at which Christians are copying that of the world into the true holy Christian living and finding some ?false? scripture to buttress it.
Evil burns at the heart of all men and they fail to serve Our Holy Father in all truth of his son. Beginning creation, God Our Father hated everything which is got to do with sexual immorality. Countless times, in the recordings of the Holy Scriptures, more examples has been made known to us; examples of judgment and punishment on sexual immorality. All these were expected to warn us, giving us a clearer meaning into the complete knowledge of Our Father. At all times he has sought that his own will worship him in all truth and Spirit, therefore was pleased with all that worshiped him in such truth and Spirit, he blessed them all, establishing eternal covenants with them. It is even through such as these we received the promise given through Abraham our father of faith (of all that believes) the eternal freedom of slavery of sin into righteousness by the sacrifice of Christ Jesus Our Lord on the cross.
But what do we see in these evil days? Can we say that Our Father is please with some sort of evil? How then is it that some of us as leaders of some association or group in the Holy name Christ paying visit to sexually-transmitted-disease-infected people and advising many others at the use of condom as an alternative for sexually promiscuous persons against such wage of sinful act.
Now think about this:
1 At that time, Judah left his brothers and went down to stay with a man of Adullam named Hirah. 2 There Judah met the daughter of a Canaanite man named Shua. He married her and lay with her; 3 she became pregnant and gave birth to a son, who was named Er. 4 She conceived again and gave birth to a son and named him Onan. 5 She gave birth to still another son and named him Shelah. It was at Kezib that she gave birth to him.
6 Judah got a wife for Er, his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. 7 But Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the LORD's sight; so the LORD put him to death.
8 Then Judah said to Onan, "Lie with your brother's wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to produce offspring for your brother." 9 But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so whenever he lay with his brother's wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from producing offspring for his brother. 10 What he did was wicked in the LORD's sight; so he put him to death also. (Gen 38:1-10)
Now it is clear, so clear that Our Father hates the spilling (wastage) of the sperms. But how come true Christians promote the use of condoms as a safe guard for sexual promiscuous men?
